I was born in Virginia and grew up performing in my family’s band. I knew from a very early age that I wanted to live in Nashville and be involved in Country Music. That dream came true, and I’ve been blessed to make a living writing songs, singing and playing guitar in Nashville for many years.

In 1991, I started attending Church with my family and began studying the Bible. In the fall of 1991, I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and soon felt His calling to teach others about Him through His Holy Word. Over the last couple of decades, I’ve been blessed to lead hundreds of Bible Studies and witness the transforming power of the Holy Spirit through the study of God’s Word.

After discerning the Lord’s leading to combine the gifts of teaching His Word, writing songs, and singing, I developed a series of brief Bible lessons, followed by songs that serve as life applications of those lessons. Using every day human relationships, the songs give evidence to the truth of Scripture. This approach is not unlike our Lord using a story or parable to illustrate His timeless Word. The intertwining use of the Holy Scriptures and music, has led me to entitle my presentation: “The Word And Song.”
